Delay Tactics.......

Question: Does a 2 1/2 year old already know how to delay their bedtime??? Tonight while I was reading with Dylan, I told him that we would only read one more book, and then it was time for bed....so, after whining a bit, he gets down and with a big grin on his face, hands me his encyclopedia, saying, "I wanna read the encyclopedia, mommy.." too smart for me!

Cherries!!

While on vacation, Dylan and Hudson enjoyed picking cherries from their Great Grandma's tree in Michigan.....It was just so sweet that they were picking cherries from the same tree that I did as a child!

"Mo!"

Hudson, our avid little talker, has recently created a new word in our house.........."MO!" for more, not sure if this might be related to living in Tennessee.....and his big brother has caught on too.

Found a picture of Dylan and his favorite toy on our beach vacation to Lake Michigan last week. He showed me how his fish could dig, swim, and float!

In the beginning......

So, here is one of my favorite pictures of my two "hungry caterpillars", I just love to see them laugh and smile at each other. One of Dylan's favorite books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar....and this term just describes my two boys perfectly.....hungry for everything: fresh air, digging in the dirt, laughing, playing......although, they are mainly hungry for mommy's attention (and daddy too!)....
